Tokyo – June 25, 2007 – GMO Internet Group company GMO Hosting & Security (GMO-HS) has joined in a partnership with Aimluck. Beginning today, the Aimluck groupware, Aipo will be available on the VPS (*1) RV-7 Series hosting service by GMO-HS brand, RapidSite. Also being launched today is the RS-7 Series free trial.
*1 Virtual Private Server is a multi-operational virtual server that operates like a dedicated server environment. It offers the scalability of a dedicated server at the low price of shared server.

The RV-7 Series VPS hosting service by GMO-HS hosting brand, RapidSite handles multiple domains, offers strong security and includes business applications as standard features.
Aipo, by Aimluck is a socialware application made available as groupware that offers communication functions like schedule sharing, SNS and intra blogging in one package. High usability, simple functions and intuitive operation make it easy to use even for beginners.
As a result of the tie-up between the two companies Aipo is now a standard installation on the RV-7 series. No complex server installation or settings are required; this eliminates an obstacle that up until now has prevented some users from taking advantage of this groupware. When applications on a hosting service are used within a company security is a concern. The RV-7 Series includes firewall as a standard feature so applications including Aipo can be used in a safe environment.

Purchase additional licenses in packs of five for 2,625 (incl. tax). Add licenses for fixed term projects or other occasions when a temporary increase in staff is required.

Aipo Free Trial
Aipo is pre-installed on all RV-7 plans (excluding the RV-731 plan). After the trial period, customers can continue using the same data when they begin a contract.

A free 7-day trial with unrestricted service environment is available to customers considering the RV-7 Series. After the trial period ends the customer can continue using the same data when they decide to commence a contract. Aipo groupware is included on the trial server allowing customers to experience its features and usability.
